Marina del Este, and more specifically, Punta de la Mona, is a famous spot on Granada’s tropical coast, located in an area protected from climatic changes due to its geography. Diving is available year-round.
The depth ranges from -2 meters to -50 meters as we approach the cliff’s tip.
This is a site of several sunfish sightings. The fauna is very varied and abundant. You can find beautiful nudibranchs with striking colors, octopuses, conger eels, well-camouflaged scorpion fish of various sizes, the orange encrusting anemone covering all the cliff walls, hermit crabs, typical castanets, and large schools of bogas and anchovies, making the dive a constant explosion of life.
